Interesting – interested in websites/resources that can help a 1-man/small-shop with their asset utilization.
Keep me posted!

I’d like to know who the wicked bass player is on the lead-in music. Sounds like Jaco Pastorius
February 8th, 2010 at 1:22 pm
Hey Dave,
Can’t be Jaco, since I’m sure this was recorded after the “incident” in Florida. Sorely missed.

Good video and good ideas/topics, Daniel! But one item really bothered me… I think you’re Canadian, right? Just a heads up that a lot of people in the USA have lost their jobs as a result of out-sourcing to foreign countries and we’re not too keen on the idea. Telling us that’s what we need to do to succeed is pretty defeating. See what I mean? Thanks!

Hi Leslie, I hear you. It’s unfortunate what’s happening right now. But we can’t bury our heads in the sand. We have to make the best of reality and utilize the highest value business resources that are available to us.
February 8th, 2010 at 1:54 pm
Daniel – An interesting and eclectic lineup of topics. Looking forward to each presentation. And commenting on Leslie’s observation, is ‘outsourcing’ the wrong word? I know my money is tight, but I’ve fallen into the trap of spending my time on mundane tasks with little return. Virtual Assistants are absolutely the way to go for most of us who are time-challenged. A good, pertinent topic; bring it on!

Liked the video and upcoming ideas on training, webinars, etc. As a small business, we’re constantly looking out for the best training, advice, conferences and webinar presentations to help us move forward (and help our customers do the same)so the speakers and events you mention are certainly worth our time. Ideas for new presentations..? Definitely more on new ways of gaining website traffic, and any news on those more organised and targeted social network platforms, as mentioned in your predictions for 2010..? Thanks!

Thanks for the resources Daniel.
I would be interested in tips and templates for writing compelling business proposals and creating contracts/agreements for payment plans .
I appreciate your added value services!

Hi Daniel,
I’d like to hear more about using power words, words that touch deep emotional cords, in our ad copy, landing pages, and sales pages.
I’m eager to hear your take on psychological marketing.
On a lighter note, forget that lame out-sourcing comment. Clearly the person doesn’t understand the issue very much.
February 8th, 2010 at 2:45 pm
The video was muffled and kept sticking on my computer. Try sending the same on audio. My question is, are these webinars you proposed related to the course the I just bought?. This activity you are asking me to do right now is taking me away from studying the information in the course.
February 8th, 2010 at 2:59 pm
I no longer watch ANY videos made for this purpose. We have found they are a waste of time, serving primarily to feed the ego of the producer and talent.
Please put this information into a written form.

Daniel,
The setup for the deal call itself is very useful.
Your choice of topics is excellent. Perhaps – if you get a chance – could you write/present a piece on reaching hard to reach corporate CEOs? I am a consultant for these executives and the best option I have so far is edu-marketing – using white papers, articles etc to build credibility and interest. What means would work to best reach people who do not go searching the web? Direct mail?
If this is outside the interest are of most of your subscribers, I understand.
Thanks for great stuff,
Brij

Thanks for the feedback guys and gals. Much appreciated. Keep it coming.

Topics sound great… with information that can be acted upon. I think you’re pusing the time envelope with a 10 minute video… maybe others think differently.
February 8th, 2010 at 5:06 pm
Daniel,
Sounds like a top-notch line up. I’ve gotten some of Igor’s stuff and I’d like to see him dig deeper in person. Plus, the psychological marketing topic as a whole is pretty cool. Look foward to it all. You’ve got a Captian Kirk quality to you…dig it.!

Hi Daniel,
I am very interested in local affiliate marketing.
I’ve seen one of the sales letters you did for (I believe) a local dentist.
I would be very interested in a product that specifically taught local, trackable, web-based sales letters. These could then be marketed as lead generation tools.
Thanks

Outsourcing-it is a controversial subject but I love it. Where I live there are no jobs. My business competes in a global environment so I hire in a global environment. If I only competed locally or even on a national level I may hire only locally or nationally. My business cant afford to pay 20.00 dollars an hour when my competitors pay 2.00 for the same thing.
February 8th, 2010 at 11:24 pm
That’s interesting Mark.
I’m not sure if I’m 100% clear on what you’re saying. But as I read your post, I’m thinking a marketer approaches local merchant and proposes to set up an online marketing campaign and affiliate engine for them. So sales and or leads generated by the marketer can be tracked with the affiliate engine and commissions paid to the marketer by the local merchant.
Is that what you’re saying? It’s a new idea to me. Worth thinking about.

Hey Tim. It’s a whole new world out there, isn’t it?
People really have to wake up and smell the coffee and realize that governments have lost control of the economy. And that it is now up to people to fend for themselves.
Not that government had any business trying to control the economy in the first place. Or to take anything away from the small minority of people who have always thought and acted independently.
In truth, there is more opportunity out there now than ever before. But it’s a kind of opportunity that demands bold, independent thinking and mental toughness… traits many people are in desperate need of developing.

Hey Daniel,
Great lineup. I’m currently writing video scripts for a client who’ll be launching in a few weeks so I’m really looking forward to the conversational hypnosis interview.
I’m especially interested in ethical fitness and nutrition marketing, so I would lap up anything related to this area.
By the way, I like how your giveaways contain real value. Obviously I get the strategy but what I like is that you seem to have enough respect for your prospects to give something real without trying to foist off the same old recycled crap.

Hey Kim, yeah Igor is amazing. Thanks for noticing that I try to put real meat into even the free stuff. I really appreciate your saying that and expressing your gratitude. It’s refreshing.
February 9th, 2010 at 4:57 pm
Sounds extremely interesting. I would be glued to an interview with publicist for creative people– like novelists of course, but also film makers and visual artists. It could be valuable for others as well I think.
Thanks Daniel!

Great line up, thanks for the information. Igor is master at what he teaches and I have his courses; John has a better approach to outsourcing than most companies although the subject of outsourcing has been beaten to death and I would like him to talk about how to design tracking system for the tasks and projects you outsource.
Topics for future interviews:
How to easily write compelling stories for your copy fast.
February 9th, 2010 at 10:19 pm
Thanks for the recommendation Arlene.
Firas, thanks for your feedback. I’m pretty I’ll be getting into storytelling and frame control with Igor.
As far as collaborative tracking systems, that’s not central to what we’ll be talking about on the outsourcing call — but John does have something to unveil at the end of the call that deals specifically with this issue.
Make sure and tune in.

Dear Daniel,
As always, you provide valuable information, even when you’re listing dates and times.
Your emails are one of the few I always open.
I don’t know if you remember, but you graciously allowed me to enter and win a complete business training course from Terry Dean. I have been slow to implement everything, but I keep plodding along. That course has changed the entire face of my business AND my plans for the future.
I have already watched this video three times and I will watch it again, just to make certain I’ve gotten all the training you insert into everything.
Thank you, Daniel!
Your friend,
Brennan

Hey Brennan, great to see a long time subscriber back on the blog. Glad to see you’re using Terry’s course and benefiting from it.
